I've been working 100% remote for years. How have I survived? Here are some of the things I've tried and how they've worked out:
1. Exercise bike under the desk (FAIL)
Days 1-7: This is great!
Days 8-15: I'll get around to pedaling later.
Days 16+: Foot rest.
2. Extra monitors (WIN)
Currently at 3 monitors total. I want more! Left screen: Email. Middle screen: video conference calls. Right screen: Zendesk
3. Space heater (WIN)
In the upper midwest, it gets cold! Especially when you're sitting all day doing nothing. My space heater keeps me toasty. I'll continue to ignore the fact that if I would just start using the under-the-desk exercise bike, I probably wouldn't need this heater....
